What’s happening now

I’m just back from Ireland where we did shows in Vicar Street and the Kilkenny Arts Festival with King Creosote & Jon Hopkins, and Mick Flannery – most enjoyable.  On arriving back in London I rehearsed with James Yorkston, Rozi Plain and Emma Smith, all fence collective veterans, for a radio session to promote the launch of James’ superb new album on the Lauren Laverne show on BBC 6Music the following day….what a crew

….then we all did an instore at Rough Trade in London where we clapped and hollered along to each others’ songs, see the vid below, lovely

I’m off to The Green Man Festival in Wales tomorrow to play the main stage on Sunday,  bizarre, and then the Body & Soul stage at Electric Picnic in a couple of weekends, nice.  Thanks to everyone who’s bought my album, keepin the wheels on the wagon.  Christmas is around the corner and is there a better present to receive than a nice album? I don’t think so.

So far, so good

Album has been out for almost two months and it seems to be slowly making its own way in the world…here’s what someone said about it recently

I’ve compiled some reviews and interviews and things that I’ve done since its release over on the ‘press’ page of the site…..here
